Sony reveals 120GB PlayStation Slim at Gamescon - $299!
Sony have just revealed the super secret 120GB PlayStation Slim at Gamescon in Germany. On first inspection, its more square shape, thinner, losing the gloss black in respect of a new matt colour, curvatious and 32 percent smaller, 36 percent lighter and consumes 34 percent less power.
The new generation PlayStation 3 is $299.99, and the same in Euros.
PlayStation is all about individuality, and Sony showcased that this morning at Gamescon with several brand new announcments.
It will be available as of the first week in September.
The current models will also drop in price as of tomorrow, retailing at just 299.00 euros.
Other worthy news items from Gamescon include news on the PS3 motion-control, with brand new games and details at TGS 09; PSP Minis Store to offer 100MB casual games; digital comics coming in November with the likes of Spiderman, X-Men and Captain Marvel on the go.
The PlayStation Store will also be getting another revamp, as well as a brand new addition to the XMB home screen in the form of a new 'What's New Tab' so you can see the very latest content as it appears live!
