Updated: Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection to get free update

Namco Bandai Games today announced that it is working on an update for downloadable title Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection, to be released March 18. “What does the update bring with it?” we don’t hear anyone ask.

DualShock 3 rumble support (also used when waiting to fight) is the first in many additions. Joining it is the option to give names to rooms, the ability to adjust how many points are allotted on a win or loss and searching for rooms. That’s not all though! A new match mode called Pickup is where you take part in one-versus-one matches is also coming, and finally, if you set Rank Match to off, wins, losses and points are not recorded.

Now for the bad news… the update is for the Japanese version of Dark Resurrection, with no word on whether it is coming to other versions of the game.

Update March 13 - A Namco Bandai PR told us he's not sure if the update will be coming to the US or Europe at this time, but will let us know if anything comes up.
