Versus XIII postponed, XIII priority

In the latest issue of Famitsu, an interview with Tetsuya Nomura revealed that Final Fantasy Versus XIII is currently being put on hold.

The games director commented on how all the Versus XIII staff members have been drafted onto the main game in the Fabula Nova Crystallis series as that is the number one priority.

There are currently three games set for the series (however its rumored the third, Agito, has been scrapped.)

There is no set release date for the games, however many suspect Final Fantasy XIII will be out late next year, and Versus XIII late the year after.

Stay tuned for more information after E3 next month, and the Square-Enix event in August.
