Warhawk Sells 100,000 in First Week

Warhawk, the large scale online shoot-em-up game from Sony's own Incognito, has sold over 100,000 copies in its first week of sales. This number is impressive given the low media coverage, and the game being an online multiplayer exclusively.
Warhawk is a sequel to a launch title for the original Playstation console, with similiarities to Battlefield 1942 and Battlefield 2, focusing on both ground combat, vehicle combat, and air combat. The game was originally being developed with a single player aspect included, but it was dropped so the team could focus its efforts entirely on the multiplayer aspect of the game.
The game retails for $59.99 and includes a bluetooth headset, or can be purchased online via the PS Store for $39.99.
