Since the launch of THPS (Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater) the Tony Hawk series has bean the uncontested leader of the skateboard genre, but Mr. Hawk has company for the skating game of choice thanks to Electronics Arts’ skate. The once infamous Tony Hawk games have now simply become a shallow pool of button mashing, unimpressive physics, mainstream skaters, and short storylines with limited replay ability.
