Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation might be using the same engine as Assassin’s Creed III, but the portable adaptation will be a completely separate game, showcasing how well the engine works with a different kind of environment.

Liberation will take the action south to New Orleans and the Gulf of Mexico. It’s status as a French/Spanish colony will be very visible from the architecture in the cities, while the wilderness will have plenty of swamps to play around in. Below is some concept art of this new setting.
