Decapitations possible in Ninja Gaiden 3 according to BBFC

Ninja Gaiden 3

One of the major complaints against the upcoming Ninja Gaiden 3 has been the lack of decapitations. The game’s description at the British Board of Film Classification, however , states that “Little is seen in terms of injury detail but killing opponents invariably produces copious blood spurts and blood effects splash onto the screen. In some cases it is possible to cut off limbs or heads.”

The majority of trailers have so far shown Ryu Hayabusa fighting against human opponents, but according to BBFC “In the opening chapter, these opponents are human but they become increasingly fantastical, including zombies and reptilian monsters, as the game progresses.” Could that mean the non-human opponents will be prone to decapitation?
