Max Payne 3 – Rockstar answers fans’ questions from PAX
By
Rockstar Games’ presence was certainly felt at the 2012 Penny Arcade Expo, with the Max Payne 3 demo getting everyone very excited. Naturally, there were a lot of questions for Rockstar to answer, so they went to Twitter and did just that (below). Looks like it’s going to be a fun summer with Max Payne 3
#MaxPayne3 is a Rockstar Studios production: a collab btw many of our studios inclu Rockstar London, Vancouver, Toronto, New England & more

If you take a fatal shot while carrying at least 1 painkiller you’ll enter Last Man Standing. #MaxPayne3

Last Man Standing is automatic Bullet Time with reticule drifting toward the guy that shot you. #MaxPayne3

If you kill the guy that shot you, you’ll be revived at the cost of 1 painkiller and whatever Bullet Time you had. #MaxPayne3

It’s not the best use of a painkiller but can be crucial in hectic firefights, giving you time to gather your wits and get moving #MaxPayne3

#MaxPayne3 is not a cover-based shooter. Your health won’t regenerate. Cover works great, but best strategy is to use all your tools…

To survive #MaxPayne3 use Bullet Time, shootdodge, roll, cover. Time reloads/painkillers. Don’t stand still in a real time firefight.
