10 Things You Didn’t Know About DC’s Doomsday

6. Doomsboy Was A Thing

Back in 1999 DC attempted to reinvent Doomsday following his death at the hands of Superman. In an alternate reality, Cadmus attempted to create an intelligent clone of Doomsday to use in case Superman ever went against their interests. Much like many other clones in the DC universe, the finished project was a younger version and the creators opted to name him Doomsboy.

At first he did normal Doomsday-like activities, but that didn’t last. He acted as a big brother to Conal (that universe’s version of Superboy) and even became a business mogul for a time. Needless to say the character did not receive much popularity and has since faded from the DC universe.
